If I put my life into a novel it would a true Western adventure set in the Rocky Mountains with days of horse back and tractor riding, ending with an Idaho supper of steak and potatoes, stand-offs with the occasional ground squirrel and the rescue of stranded lambs.

Add to this a solid chapter of pure adrenaline bustin’ and good ol’ days of running on the track, wicked rapids that toss and swirl you through Westwater and the Grand Canyon, third world country travel, and rocks – lots of rocks! All of which have made the outdoor industry the perfect fit for finding what some call a job, others, living your passion that also pays your bills.

Eight years of the Goat Culture aka Backcountry.com has given me the insight to marketing strategies, inventory management, floor merchandising, and the true meaning of work hard, play hard. What better platform to ready this gal to jump onto the road with Mountain Stuff, drive through the hills, pines, cacti, and along the raging rivers to visit the buyers and staff of the many specialty stores throughout the Rockies. Those of which bring so much gear expertise, personality, and history to our industry, all the while sharing the inspiring design and stories of Osprey, Outdoor Research, Western Mountaineering, and Scott Running.
